# VPN vs Dialed

The clearest difference is ads: Dialed at none against VPN's shown. Dialed also leads on update cadence (daily vs every 2 weeks) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). VPN's advantage is ratings volume (454K vs 4) and chart position (#20 vs unranked). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. VPN sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and Dialed sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Dialed holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: VPN has 454K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 84% of VPN's written reviews are positive against 100% of Dialed's.

VPN ships an update every 2 weeks, Dialed daily. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
