# CamGuru vs VisualMind

The clearest difference is rating: VisualMind at 4.5 against CamGuru's 3.3. VisualMind also leads on ratings volume (3.3K vs 90). CamGuru's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs fortnightly) and review sentiment (33% vs 23%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CamGuru sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and VisualMind sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $13.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

VisualMind holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: VisualMind has 3.3K ratings behind it against 90, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 33% of CamGuru's written reviews are positive against 23% of VisualMind's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

CamGuru ships an update weekly, VisualMind fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 7, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
