# TestGenie vs EverMind Flashcards

The clearest difference is rating: EverMind Flashcards at 5.0 against TestGenie's 4.4. EverMind Flashcards also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription). TestGenie's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 3 weeks) and ratings volume (34 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TestGenie sells 81 in-app purchases, starting at $8.49 per month and EverMind Flashcards sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

EverMind Flashcards holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TestGenie has 34 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

TestGenie ships an update every 4 days, EverMind Flashcards every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
