# Retrowave Wallpapers vs Psychedelic Live Wallpapers

The clearest difference is rating: Psychedelic Live Wallpapers at 4.1 against Retrowave Wallpapers's 3.2. Psychedelic Live Wallpapers also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (weekly vs every 4 months). Retrowave Wallpapers's advantage is review sentiment (50% vs 25%). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Retrowave Wallpapers sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Psychedelic Live Wallpapers sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Psychedelic Live Wallpapers holds the better App Store score, 4.1 against 3.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Psychedelic Live Wallpapers has 189 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Retrowave Wallpapers's written reviews are positive against 25% of Psychedelic Live Wallpapers's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
