# Groomeer vs NUG inc.

The clearest difference is rating: NUG inc. at 4.8 against Groomeer's 3.4. NUG inc. also leads on ratings volume (389 vs 5) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs monthly). Groomeer's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 16.0). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

NUG inc. holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: NUG inc. has 389 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of Groomeer's written reviews are positive against 63% of NUG inc.'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Groomeer ships an update monthly, NUG inc. every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
