# Wing vs Cidercade

The clearest difference is rating: Wing at 4.7 against Cidercade's 4.1. Wing also leads on ratings volume (11K vs 16) and review sentiment (75% vs 63%). Cidercade's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Wing holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Wing has 11K ratings behind it against 16, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 75% of Wing's written reviews are positive against 63% of Cidercade's.

Wing ships an update fortnightly, Cidercade every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
