# Vacation Countdown Widget vs Widget Countdown

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Widget Countdown at 73% against Vacation Countdown Widget's 30%. Vacation Countdown Widget's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and rating (4.4 vs 4.1). On price, ratings volume, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Vacation Countdown Widget sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $5.99 per month and Widget Countdown sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Vacation Countdown Widget holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.1. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 101 and 51 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 30% of Vacation Countdown Widget's written reviews are positive against 73% of Widget Countdown's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Vacation Countdown Widget ships an update every 5 days, Widget Countdown monthly. The most recent releases landed on September 28, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
