# Neural Network vs MethdAI

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Neural Network at 140 against MethdAI's 2. Neural Network also leads on rating (4.7 vs 4.5) and device support (4 vs 2). MethdAI's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 85%) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 3 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neural Network sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per 6 months and MethdAI sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Neural Network holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Neural Network has 140 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 85% of Neural Network's written reviews are positive against 100% of MethdAI's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Neural Network ships an update every 3 weeks, MethdAI every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
