# Binge BD vs Palki TV

The clearest difference is monetization model: Palki TV at free with in-app purchases against Binge BD's subscription. Palki TV also leads on review sentiment (27% vs 13%) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 17.0). Binge BD's advantage is rating (3.2 vs 2.9) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 6 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Binge BD sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.00 per 7 days and Palki TV sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Binge BD holds the better App Store score, 3.2 against 2.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Binge BD has 202 ratings behind it against 32, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 13% of Binge BD's written reviews are positive against 27% of Palki TV's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Binge BD ships an update every 3 weeks, Palki TV every 6 weeks. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
