# Hidden Journey 2 vs Ice Sling

The clearest difference is rating: Hidden Journey 2 at 4.6 against Ice Sling's 2.3. Hidden Journey 2 also leads on ratings volume (20K vs 6). Ice Sling's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 10) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Hidden Journey 2 sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Ice Sling asks for nothing beyond the download.

Hidden Journey 2 holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 2.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Hidden Journey 2 has 20K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 60% of Hidden Journey 2's written reviews are positive against 67% of Ice Sling's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
