# Crazy Traffic Control vs Crowdabout

The clearest difference is rating: Crowdabout at 4.7 against Crazy Traffic Control's 4.2. Crowdabout also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs every 2 months) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.0). Crazy Traffic Control's advantage is ratings volume (1.7K vs 3). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Crazy Traffic Control sells 6 one-off in-app purchases and Crowdabout sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Crowdabout holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Crazy Traffic Control has 1.7K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Crazy Traffic Control ships an update every 2 months, Crowdabout every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
