# Smart Oud vs thmanyah

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Smart Oud at 80% against thmanyah's 18%. Smart Oud also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 4) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). thmanyah's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 4.1) and ads (none vs shown). On price, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. thmanyah sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Smart Oud asks for nothing beyond the download.

thmanyah holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: thmanyah has 1.3K ratings behind it against 216, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 80% of Smart Oud's written reviews are positive against 18% of thmanyah's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Smart Oud ships an update every 10 months, thmanyah weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
