# Smart Oud vs RevLab

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Smart Oud at none against RevLab's 1. Smart Oud also leads on rating (4.1 vs 3.6) and ratings volume (217 vs 5). RevLab's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 10 months). On price, ads, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. RevLab sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Smart Oud asks for nothing beyond the download.

Smart Oud holds the better App Store score, 4.1 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Smart Oud has 217 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 80% of Smart Oud's written reviews are positive against 60% of RevLab's.

Smart Oud ships an update every 10 months, RevLab weekly. Both last shipped on October 29, 2026.
