# myGrounds vs The 92

The clearest difference is update cadence: myGrounds at every 6 weeks against The 92's every 9 months. The 92's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. myGrounds sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per year and The 92 sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

myGrounds ships an update every 6 weeks, The 92 every 9 months. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
