# Bialah vs V

The clearest difference is monetization model: Bialah at free against V's subscription. Bialah also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and review sentiment (100% vs 89%). V's advantage is ratings volume (160 vs 3). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Bialah holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: V has 160 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 100% of Bialah's written reviews are positive against 89% of V's.

Bialah ships an update every 3 weeks, V fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and September 21, 2026 respectively.
