# Herman Interactive vs Zen Screw

The clearest difference is ads: Herman Interactive at none against Zen Screw's shown. Zen Screw's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Herman Interactive sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per month and Zen Screw sells 23 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Herman Interactive ships an update every 2 months, Zen Screw fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
