# Thinfinity vs CORTEX_NODE

The clearest difference is update cadence: CORTEX_NODE at every 3 months against Thinfinity's every 7 months. Thinfinity's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Thinfinity ships an update every 7 months, CORTEX_NODE every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on September 30, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
