# OnePrep vs Gizmo

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: OnePrep at none against Gizmo's 15. OnePrep also leads on review sentiment (88% vs 65%) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). Gizmo's advantage is ratings volume (16K vs 1) and update cadence (every 4 days vs fortnightly). On price, ads, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Gizmo sells 15 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. OnePrep asks for nothing beyond the download.

OnePrep holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Gizmo has 16K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 88% of OnePrep's written reviews are positive against 65% of Gizmo's.

OnePrep ships an update fortnightly, Gizmo every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
