# D'Nails vs Artmate

The clearest difference is update cadence: Artmate at every 2 weeks against D'Nails's every 8 months. Artmate also leads on ratings volume (16K vs 2) and chart position (#32 vs unranked). D'Nails's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 77%) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 16.0). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. D'Nails sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Artmate sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

D'Nails holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Artmate has 16K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 100% of D'Nails's written reviews are positive against 77% of Artmate's.

D'Nails ships an update every 8 months, Artmate every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
