# Eargo vs IDEERFIT

The clearest difference is rating: Eargo at 2.9 against IDEERFIT's 1.6. Eargo also leads on ratings volume (157 vs 5). IDEERFIT's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 17.4). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Eargo holds the better App Store score, 2.9 against 1.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Eargo has 157 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 27% of Eargo's written reviews are positive against 29% of IDEERFIT's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Eargo ships an update monthly, IDEERFIT every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
