# SQWAD RF vs Assignr

The clearest difference is monetization model: SQWAD RF at free against Assignr's subscription. SQWAD RF also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). Assignr's advantage is ratings volume (8.9K vs 7). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for SQWAD RF against 4.9 for Assignr. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Assignr has 8.9K ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
