# Eppo Music vs Topic

The clearest difference is update cadence: Topic at every 4 days against Eppo Music's every 2 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Eppo Music sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month and Topic sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $29.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Eppo Music ships an update every 2 months, Topic every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
