# Walling vs Purelist

The clearest difference is update cadence: Walling at every 6 days against Purelist's fortnightly. Walling also leads on ratings volume (323 vs 41) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 16.0). Purelist's advantage is review sentiment (75% vs 63%). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Walling sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $59.99 per year and Purelist sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $0.49 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Walling against 4.6 for Purelist. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Walling has 323 ratings behind it against 41, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 63% of Walling's written reviews are positive against 75% of Purelist's.

Walling ships an update every 6 days, Purelist fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
