# Walling vs Quick Notes

Walling and Quick Notes both sit at 4.7 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Quick Notes's written reviews are positive against 63% of Walling's. Walling's advantage is ratings volume (323 vs 30) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Walling sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $59.99 per year and Quick Notes sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Walling against 4.7 for Quick Notes. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Walling has 323 ratings behind it against 30, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 63% of Walling's written reviews are positive against 100% of Quick Notes's.

Walling ships an update every 6 days, Quick Notes every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
