# Photo Widget vs WowKit

The clearest difference is rating: Photo Widget at 4.6 against WowKit's 4.3. Photo Widget also leads on ratings volume (169K vs 1.6K) and chart position (#150 vs unranked). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Photo Widget sells 29 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and WowKit sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Photo Widget holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Photo Widget has 169K ratings behind it against 1.6K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 72% of Photo Widget's written reviews are positive against 74% of WowKit's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Photo Widget ships an update weekly, WowKit every 10 days. Both last shipped on October 27, 2026.
