# DDiary Pro vs NoteEase

DDiary Pro and NoteEase both sit at 4.2 stars, but that hides the real split: 79% of DDiary Pro's written reviews are positive against 42% of NoteEase's. DDiary Pro also leads on update cadence (every 10 days vs monthly). On price, rating, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DDiary Pro sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.49 per month and NoteEase sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $4.49 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

NoteEase holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.2. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 45 and 67 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 79% of DDiary Pro's written reviews are positive against 42% of NoteEase's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

DDiary Pro ships an update every 10 days, NoteEase monthly. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
