# MicroMarket vs Farid

The clearest difference is monetization model: MicroMarket at free against Farid's ad-supported. Farid's advantage is update cadence (every 2 months vs every 3 months) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

MicroMarket ships an update every 3 months, Farid every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
