The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Trumsy at none against Scholar Planet's 10. Trumsy also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). Scholar Planet's advantage is ratings volume (12 vs 1). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Scholar Planet sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $0.49 per month. Trumsy asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Scholar Planet against 5.0 for Trumsy. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Scholar Planet has 12 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
