# Steiner Connect vs Axon

The clearest difference is rating: Axon at 4.8 against Steiner Connect's 3.0. Axon also leads on ratings volume (1.3K vs 6) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 5 weeks). Steiner Connect's advantage is monetization model (free vs subscription) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Axon holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Axon has 1.3K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 40% and 40% positive.

Steiner Connect ships an update every 5 weeks, Axon every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
