# V1 Baseball vs Diamond Kinetics

The clearest difference is ads: Diamond Kinetics at none against V1 Baseball's shown. Diamond Kinetics also leads on rating (3.4 vs 3.1) and ratings volume (151 vs 26). V1 Baseball's advantage is review sentiment (50% vs 41%) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. V1 Baseball sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Diamond Kinetics sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Diamond Kinetics holds the better App Store score, 3.4 against 3.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Diamond Kinetics has 151 ratings behind it against 26, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of V1 Baseball's written reviews are positive against 41% of Diamond Kinetics's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

V1 Baseball ships an update every 3 weeks, Diamond Kinetics every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
