# kkVPN vs ICE NET

The clearest difference is review sentiment: ICE NET at 91% against kkVPN's 33%. ICE NET also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks). kkVPN's advantage is rating (4.1 vs 2.2) and ratings volume (340 vs 6). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. kkVPN sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and ICE NET sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

kkVPN holds the better App Store score, 4.1 against 2.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: kkVPN has 340 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 33% of kkVPN's written reviews are positive against 91% of ICE NET's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

kkVPN ships an update every 3 weeks, ICE NET weekly. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
