# GRImageViewer vs Cocam

The clearest difference is ads: Cocam at none against GRImageViewer's shown. Cocam also leads on rating (3.9 vs 3.4) and update cadence (every 8 days vs every 3 weeks). GRImageViewer's advantage is ratings volume (42 vs 7). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GRImageViewer sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Cocam sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Cocam holds the better App Store score, 3.9 against 3.4.
