# Miltech vs Nestio

The clearest difference is rating: Nestio at 4.8 against Miltech's 4.1. Nestio also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1) and ratings volume (423 vs 36). Miltech's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 4 months) and review sentiment (64% vs 50%). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Miltech sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $2.49 per month. Nestio asks for nothing beyond the download.

Nestio holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Nestio has 423 ratings behind it against 36, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 64% of Miltech's written reviews are positive against 50% of Nestio's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Miltech ships an update every 3 weeks, Nestio every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
