# Snippety vs Caddy

The clearest difference is update cadence: Snippety at every 6 days against Caddy's every 2 months. Snippety also leads on monetization model (paid vs subscription) and ratings volume (72 vs 1). Caddy's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 18.0). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Snippety sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Caddy sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Caddy holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Snippety has 72 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Snippety ships an update every 6 days, Caddy every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
