# Hex bomb vs Zero One Protocol

The clearest difference is update cadence: Zero One Protocol at every 9 days against Hex bomb's every 13 months. Hex bomb's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Hex bomb sells 7 one-off in-app purchases and Zero One Protocol sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Hex bomb ships an update every 13 months, Zero One Protocol every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on September 26, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
