# Drawing Water vs Dig This 2

The clearest difference is rating: Dig This 2 at 4.7 against Drawing Water's 4.0. Dig This 2 also leads on ratings volume (10K vs 3). Drawing Water's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 6) and update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Dig This 2 sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. Drawing Water asks for nothing beyond the download.

Dig This 2 holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Dig This 2 has 10K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Drawing Water's written reviews are positive against 48% of Dig This 2's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Drawing Water ships an update weekly, Dig This 2 every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
