# MPT IPTV vs AppShow

The clearest difference is rating: AppShow at 5.0 against MPT IPTV's 3.5. AppShow also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 3 months). MPT IPTV's advantage is ratings volume (40 vs 2) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 13.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

AppShow holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MPT IPTV has 40 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

MPT IPTV ships an update every 3 months, AppShow every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 4, 2026.
