# Sticky Notes vs GPSnaps

The clearest difference is price: Sticky Notes at Free against GPSnaps's $4.99. Sticky Notes also leads on rating (4.6 vs 1.0) and update cadence (weekly vs every 8 months). GPSnaps's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 7) and ads (none vs shown). On review sentiment and device support there is nothing between them.

Sticky Notes is free to download; GPSnaps costs $4.99 up front. Sticky Notes sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $2.49 per month. GPSnaps asks for nothing beyond the download.

Sticky Notes holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Sticky Notes has 522 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 61% of Sticky Notes's written reviews are positive against 67% of GPSnaps's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Sticky Notes ships an update weekly, GPSnaps every 8 months. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
