# StarDay vs SomeDay

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: StarDay at none against SomeDay's 1. StarDay also leads on rating (4.8 vs 4.5) and ratings volume (578 vs 22). SomeDay's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 68%). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SomeDay sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. StarDay asks for nothing beyond the download.

StarDay holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: StarDay has 578 ratings behind it against 22, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 68% of StarDay's written reviews are positive against 100% of SomeDay's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

StarDay ships an update weekly, SomeDay monthly. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
