# iRVcontrol vs BMPRO Connect

The clearest difference is update cadence: iRVcontrol at every 6 weeks against BMPRO Connect's every 6 months. iRVcontrol also leads on monetization model (free vs ad-supported) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and ratings volume there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

iRVcontrol holds the better App Store score, 1.9 against 1.7. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 10 and 9 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 14% of iRVcontrol's written reviews are positive against 17% of BMPRO Connect's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

iRVcontrol ships an update every 6 weeks, BMPRO Connect every 6 months. The most recent releases landed on June 1, 2026 and September 26, 2026 respectively.
