# Spirit Notes vs Bible Note

The clearest difference is update cadence: Bible Note at every 4 days against Spirit Notes's monthly. Bible Note also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 82%) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.2). Spirit Notes's advantage is ratings volume (611 vs 11). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Spirit Notes sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Bible Note sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Spirit Notes holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Spirit Notes has 611 ratings behind it against 11, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 82% of Spirit Notes's written reviews are positive against 100% of Bible Note's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Spirit Notes ships an update monthly, Bible Note every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
