# CORTEX IQ vs Cruzo AI

The clearest difference is rating: Cruzo AI at 5.0 against CORTEX IQ's 2.8. Cruzo AI also leads on update cadence (every 4 weeks vs every 7 months). CORTEX IQ's advantage is ratings volume (80 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Cruzo AI holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CORTEX IQ has 80 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

CORTEX IQ ships an update every 7 months, Cruzo AI every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
