# Trraxx vs Trainventory

The clearest difference is update cadence: Trainventory at every 3 months against Trraxx's every 27 months. Trainventory also leads on ratings volume (25 vs 4). Trraxx's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 18.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Trraxx holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Trainventory has 25 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Trraxx ships an update every 27 months, Trainventory every 3 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
