# Carnatic Singer vs SwarMeter

The clearest difference is ads: Carnatic Singer at none against SwarMeter's shown. Carnatic Singer also leads on ratings volume (96 vs 1). SwarMeter's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 4 months). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Carnatic Singer sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and SwarMeter sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SwarMeter holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Carnatic Singer has 96 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Carnatic Singer ships an update every 4 months, SwarMeter every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
