# Learn Azure vs Tableau Desktop Specialist

The clearest difference is update cadence: Learn Azure at fortnightly against Tableau Desktop Specialist's every 12 months. Learn Azure also leads on ratings volume (342 vs 2). Tableau Desktop Specialist's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 13.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Learn Azure sells 15 one-off in-app purchases and Tableau Desktop Specialist sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Tableau Desktop Specialist holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Learn Azure has 342 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Learn Azure ships an update fortnightly, Tableau Desktop Specialist every 12 months. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
