# SAA vs Training for AWS

SAA and Training for AWS both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 77% of SAA's written reviews are positive against 22% of Training for AWS's. Training for AWS's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (monthly vs every 4 months). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SAA sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days and Training for AWS sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $24.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SAA holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 266 and 916 respectively. Written reviews point the same way: 77% of SAA's written reviews are positive against 22% of Training for AWS's.

SAA ships an update every 4 months, Training for AWS monthly. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
