# English Galaxy Английский язык vs LinguaCity

The clearest difference is rating: English Galaxy Английский язык at 4.7 against LinguaCity's 4.2. English Galaxy Английский язык also leads on ratings volume (1.4K vs 5) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). LinguaCity's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 3 weeks) and review sentiment (90% vs 77%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. English Galaxy Английский язык sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and LinguaCity sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

English Galaxy Английский язык holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: English Galaxy Английский язык has 1.4K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 77% of English Galaxy Английский язык's written reviews are positive against 90% of LinguaCity's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

English Galaxy Английский язык ships an update every 3 weeks, LinguaCity every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and November 1, 2026 respectively.
