# Alfa ELD vs Trendy ELD

The clearest difference is rating: Trendy ELD at 5.0 against Alfa ELD's 3.4. Alfa ELD's advantage is review sentiment (71% vs 50%) and update cadence (every 5 months vs every 10 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Trendy ELD holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.4. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 14 and 3 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 71% of Alfa ELD's written reviews are positive against 50% of Trendy ELD's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Alfa ELD ships an update every 5 months, Trendy ELD every 10 months. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
