# Progress vs Tally Counter

The clearest difference is price: Tally Counter at Free against Progress's $3.99. Tally Counter also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.0) and iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). Progress's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and ratings volume (30 vs 3). On ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Tally Counter is free to download; Progress costs $3.99 up front. Tally Counter sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Progress asks for nothing beyond the download.

Tally Counter holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Progress has 30 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.
