# HappiSeek vs Sounds True

The clearest difference is review sentiment: HappiSeek at 100% against Sounds True's 26%. HappiSeek also leads on rating (4.8 vs 4.6) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 16.0). Sounds True's advantage is ratings volume (1.2K vs 12). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. HappiSeek sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $17.99 per month and Sounds True sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

HappiSeek holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Sounds True has 1.2K ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 100% of HappiSeek's written reviews are positive against 26% of Sounds True's.

HappiSeek ships an update monthly, Sounds True every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 7, 2026 respectively.
